Yantzer Updates Asian Market on AGS Performance-Based Cut Grade |

(Las Vegas, NV Autust 14, 2007) On September 26, attendees at the September Hong Kong Jewellery and Watch Fair will have the opportunity to learn about recent developments in the AGS Performance-Based Cut Grade in a free educational session presented by Peter Yantzer, Executive Director of the American Gem Society Laboratories. In the presentation, “The AGS Performance- Based Cut Grade Update—from Rounds to Emeralds… and Beyond,” seminar participants will gain a better foundation of how AGS Laboratories graders apply Cut Grades to diamonds. Additionally, the particular role of certain elements assessed such as proportion factors will be presented. Attendees will learn how this information can help them sell more effectively.
“Through this presentation, participants will gain a thorough understanding of the AGS Cut Grade parameters and the metrics that measure them. This will give them the knowledge needed to identify cuts with the best appearance. In turn, this knowledge can help retailers increase sales of fine goods using AGS Laboratories’ diamond reports,” said Yantzer. “Our Cut Grade methodology is an important topic to the Asian market, particularly now, as the demand for AGS Laboratories reports has increased in the region.”
