The SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute, as a so-called "Allied Teaching Center" of the Gemmological Association and Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain (GAGTL) offers an additional programme of two practical workshops per year, which can be followed in combination with the FGA correspondence programme of the GAGTL.

The SSEF guarantees you a first class training given by a PhD. qualified mineralogist/gemmologist. We strongly recommend you to follow these workshops as a perfect completion to the FGA correspondence course. These FGA workshops give you the opportunity to really practise "learning-by-doing" and to gather experience in the daily gemmological work.
