To spread information on gemmology, for 11 years now meetings have been held with the Cisgem analysts. These are monographic seminars for jewellers, dealers in the sector and private individuals who wish to extend their knowledge of precious stones, pearls, diamonds and ornamental materials. During the course of each meeting the analysts illustrate the characteristics of a gem using ad hoc material and slides. The participants can try out the notions they have learnt by using some basic instruments.
